It was a genuine pleasure to stay in an superbly run hotel. The staff were overflowing with thoughtfulness and good cheer. I mentioned that it was out anniversary and asked that some roses be placed in our room. The roses were fantastic, and a bottle of champagne was provided free of charge, which while we were unable to drink, the though was appreciated. The room booked was a Junior Suite which was a good size, and we were given our own private little garden with chairs and heaters for relaxing in the evening. A wonderful experience, and highly recommended.

    Fabulous

Nice design touches, both in the foyer and the rooms. Very good staff - friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

Prices for drinks in the hotel bar seemed excessive, particularly in light of the fact that neither of the drinks we ordered were available (one alcoholic, one non-alcoholic) so we had to go for substitutes.

    Fabulous

a very nice small boutique hotel hidden away from all the hustle and bustle of oxford street , very clean , nice decor and pleasant staff.

the bed was a tad small for me ( iam 6ft 2 ") and the rooms not very soundproof - conversations in hallways and bottle banging early in the morning.

within easy walking distance to Oxford street and theatres.

Good location and cheap price (for the middle of London). Other travelers recommended this hotel as a good budget hotel in the area and they were right. Remember Her it is a budget hotel. I stayed for five nights with shared facilities so it was a very basic trip for me. The hotel however was clean, had free Internet in the restaurant (closed after 22:00) and free breakfast. Staff were really friendly and helpful too

Lounge closed after 22:00 so I couldn't use my wireless internet later in the evening. Also this is not a fancy hotel but is very clean with friendly helpful staff

    Very good

Location was excellent for shopping Oxford St. Bed was very comfortable Temperature very comfortable

My room on ground floor was a very noisy corridor and stank of smoke - may have been close to smokers area outside. I thought the noise was staff using office at end of corridor but I was told it was guests. I still am not sure about that. The TV was not tuned properly which was annoying as I was there for 3 nights. Food was tasteless. Their was an upholstered stool in reception which is very worn and very dirty and gave the wrong impression of the Hotel on entrance.

This was our sixth visit to the hotel. Each visit has been wonderful. Our room was as good as any we have ever stayed in. The location could not be bettered, from our point of view. Excellent food. However, the highlight of our visits have always been the staff. They are simply superb. We know Adam, Ivana and Laura from previous visits and they deserve special mention for their kindness and excellence. They greet us like old friends. No request is too much for them.

    Superb

The location was great for getting to see the sights. Neil the Consierge was extremely helpful. The rooms although small were spotless ;-)

The bar was tooo expensive and the rooms were small, I guess thats to be expected of a London Hotel. Also the matress seemed to have a roll together ability built in.

Comfortable room, good facilities, free WiFi is appreciated

    Very good

The place is beautiful. a boutique hotel recicled recently, with modern touchs, but still maintaining the traditional sense. It is small, but every detail is considered and the staff is great.

The bedroom and bathroom is too small. Even imposible to put the luggage inside (I was expecting something biger, considering that we rented a superior room). This is a huge downsize!! The location is nice, but is not so closed to the subway and definitely is not in the most turistic area.
